A family-owned business for nearly 50 years

Dahlheimer Beverage, LLC has distributed beer to retailers in the northwest suburbs of the Twin Cities for nearly 50 years. The family-owned business - based in Monticello - has been led by three generations of Dahlheimers.
In 1959, Merle Dahlheimer started distributing beer under the company name M.M. Dahlheimer Distributing - later changed to Dahlheimer Beverage, LLC. Then in 1976, the company moved to Monticello and has been a well-known business in the community ever since. In 2007, Dahlheimer Beverage was named "Business of the Year" by the Monticello Chamber of Commerce.
Today the company employs 45 people. General Manager Luke Dahlheimer, one of Merle's grandsons, joins his brother and several cousins in leading the beer distribution company, which distributes more than 150 brands from nearly 30 suppliers.
